Time to stop being such a load, I guess.

Total word count: Somewhere around 2000 (officially 2017, but that includes some notes and things.)

I mostly got this bit written on Wednesday, with a few additions on Thursday. It's not great in written form, but should work well as a page in a comic book--lot of crowd shots as we spotlight some of the important figures in Beacon City. Some of these people will be important later.

Narration provided by Brenda and Pablo (they have last names, I assure you,) hosts of KBCN-TV's morning show and possibly also news anchors as well. They're very talented.

“Welcome back! We're here live at the dedication of the Cowboy Memorial Museum, and it looks like the whole town has turned out for the ceremony.”

“That's right, Brenda. I'm starting to think the only people not here are the ones back at the studio. Sorry, gang!”

“Ha ha! It certainly seems that way, Pablo. Nobody wants to miss this, especially not some of our cities more famous residents. Look, there's billionaire Donovan Price!”

“Naturally he'd be on hand, with as much as he contributed to the project. All the city's top officials are here as well. Chief of Police Jane Haddix...Lester Mulroy, the warden of Lockwood Penitentiary--

“I certainly hope nobody else from there is here today!”

“Ha ha, me too! But it's not just public officials here. You can see in the reserved seating, former football star Marcus Hubbard and his family. It's a shame he's not in the Hall of Fame yet.”

“No argument here. Wow, there's local businessman, William Fortescue. A very rare public appearance from him. The entertainment industry is represented too—there's Andrew Riesen, the star of KBCN-AM's morning lineup...oh, look! Actor Justin Frazier is here!”

“Have you seen his latest, Brenda?”

“Not yet; we'd have to find a sitter before we can go see that one. I hear the stuntwork is amazing.”

“Word is that we've even got some of the Cowboy's notorious enemies here to pay their respects. I think that shows just how great the man was; even criminals respected him.”

“You're absolutely right, Pablo. We'll never see another like the Cowboy. Let's go down to the podium, where mayor Quentin September is about to begin.”
